The 400, 800, 810, 1050, and 1200XL all used a 9V AC brick; they ranged from about 1 amp to 3 amps. The 1 amp unit was barely sufficient for a stock computer and inadequate for upgraded memory units. 1.5 to 2 amps was preferred for drives, but I have seen a 1 amp do just fine.
