It might also be worth noting that some users may still be using those old machines, what were they? - oh yes, STs so they might actually be put off by having large pictures and waiting for them to download is not going to be insant is it?
Ok, so perhaps the ability to add icons etc might help spruce up the site a tad, but lets be honest, its not the be all and end all of a forum is it?
