Yes, Magic is the canines danglies as far as the Atari and clones are concerned, I cannot add anythign that has not already been said.
However, I will tell you somethign that seems to be overlooked by EVERYONE!
You can run GEMulator on the PC, and edit the NEWDESK.INF ( or DESTOP.INF ? ) file, and if you are running on Windows Filesystem, you can happily run Windows Software from GEMulator. Try it!
Also, ( get this for stupidity ):-
I can run SoftMac ( apple Mac emulator ) and under that, I can run MagicMac, and its actually pretty nippy!
The bugger is, that they are both demos, so thats not very good, but I recon I could have hit somethign here! ( only worth a laugh though! )
Also,if you want to run Magic under GEMulator, DONT use Windows 2000/NT/XP - just 9x/ME - they dont bloody work.
Also use a virtual Disk, and NOT the windows filesystem, its far more stable. A bit slower though, but still tons faster than a real Atari.
