Yes, probably it was regional or something, after all, there is loads of different versions of each version of windows.
I have not seen it, but then, I only have 3 versions of Win95.
You say about changing the HD in a PC...
Can I ask what the hell you are trying to say there?
If you change the HD in a PC, you get what?
1-A different HD, and so, windows, and your stuff has somehow disappeared? ( Dont ask, I have seen people moan about that )
2-You added a disk, keeping your original
This would simply mean, that you have another Disk, more than likely, if you are one of the idiots, it becomes D: and your CDROM becomes E: and so on...
Or, if you have proper partitioning on the original, the new drive suddenly becomes D: and the original D: becomes E: and so on...
But, why do you say that changing the HD makes the PC suddenly become NOT WELL CONFIGURED?
You did tell the BIOS about the new drive didnt you?
