Hi and congratulations on your good taste :-)
I also dreamed of that machine since 1993.
(But I bought one in the same year *g*)
Today I have three Falcons *g*.
I just wanted to add something on the Audio-stuff.(Because nobody did so until now)
If you just want to pay MP3s or WAVs, there is nothing better than the "Aniplayer".
It is shareware and costs about 8 Euro or so.
If You want to use the Falcon as a sequenzer for MIDI the situation is quite bad;
CuBase Score/Audio are available for download at Steinberg's homepage, but they do not sell it anymore and the programs need a dongle for the ROM-port.
In Germa ebay CuBase Audio can get up to 200,- Euro!!
And cracks are very unstable; I had one, it crashed about every 30 minutes.
Another thing is: -what- Falcon do You have?
Is it an early Falcon (TOS4.01 / TOS4.02) or a late one (TOS4.04)?
If it is an early one the probability is high that it has no clock-patch.
Falcons without clock-patch (a hardware-patch) run totally unstable with almost all audio-applications :-(
I was struggling with CuBase Audio for months until I found that out.
If You have a clock-patch, that is to say, CuBase Audio is the most stable proggy I've ever seen (without the CuBase-fileselector, this is crap).
What I wrote here does not concern older CuBase versions or CuBase Score, just CuBase Audio.
Anyway, have fun with this best of all Ataris,
Alex
