Author: Shalroth (wwwcache-c.lmu.ac.uk) Date: 01-10-2002 17:30 Try this in the OEM (stand alone) version: 18795-OEM-0002255-nnnnn nnnnn can be anything you like, I normally put '666' in there somewhere and show people that Bill Gates is the devil the christians invented... Also, you can turn the OEM version into an upgrade by rebooting your machine when it baulks because you have an OS installed, boot into DOS, then edit SETUPPP.INF in wininst0.400 and search for 'Producttype' and change it from =8 to =2 (or the other way round, it's been years since I tried it). Then you can run setup from that DIR and it will work. The difference between the OEM standalone and upgrade CDs is one byte in one file...
