Ooh, a free Mac.
I got hold of a Mac a few weeks ago, I was under the impression that it was going to be something amazing, but it turned out to be a Centris.
Not that i am complaining mind you, but its not exactly the speediest thing I have seen.
Hasnt stopped me throwing stuff at it though, its got SCSI, which is handy, and the RAM seems to be okif Iadd one stick at a time, well at least its ok with a 16MB and a pair of 8s anyway.
All I need now, is a good OS for it, I have System 7 which is good, but not good enough.
You can thankfully download tons of stuff from apple themselves, and this is what I did for most of it.
As for the IDE Drive, yes a fiver is a tad steep, you should get at least 500mb for a fiver, and surely 1GB isnt too much to ask either!
