Hi,
what I find is interesting is that this is the
only forum where everybody is talking about accelerators
all the time while in the whole Atari-world the vast
majority is looking forward to the xTOS-project.
And please stop moaning about a "non-compatible"
coldfire - the PPCs are MUCH less compatible to
68k's and Apple-software has survived this change, too.
Just imagine you had a 486 and find that this thing
is a bit old-fashioned. What would you do?
Buy a accelerator or buy at least a Pentium3?
Please forgive me comparing the Falcon with that
shitty 486... ;-)
But somehow Atari still is a living system.
Only dead systems are kept alive with accelerators.
(Though they're surely no bad thing. But also
they are no solution)
Bye, Alex
PS.: By the way,,I am the guy who made the Atari survey,
update is following today, so I know what I am talking
about ;-)
