Surely CT60 CAN take advantage of all those MIPS when software is running in TTRAM? Thats the whole point isn't it?
That the 68060 has its own bus on the CT60 and can use all the power so long as its only dealing with CT60 SDRAM onboard memory.
This is how i am planning my Racing game for CT60.
1. I will have my DMA sound routines in STRAM.
2. Maybe some Matrix or Sound routines on the DSP
3.I will run my processor intensive graphics routines in CT60 TTRam, then download the finished screen into STram for the VIDEL to display it.
Thus the main Falcon bus would just be carrying the data for the VIDEL, the screen data from TT to STRam and the Sound. Whilst in parallel the CT60 is doing all the hard stuff on its own busses in TTRam.
Or am i being naive?
