As far as I am aware, the yare both the same, give you access to BitStream Fonts ( TrueType etc ) for screen/printer, but NVDI also speeds up a lot of graphic/text routines as well.

Thus making your system run a hell of a lot slower

Go on everyone, tell me I am wrong about that too!
