I don't want to spoil the fun all around this but the "TOSter" doesn't look outdated or
"antiquated", it looks just plain ridiculous.
Unfortunately, even though Anders S. vividly fights against this, Johan Klockars is not only competent enough to judge it but also totally right.
Everything hardware-specs related on the TOSter page is pure nonsense. A 66.5 MHz CPU with an external 68882 FPU that the CPU can not directly operate, but a RAM running at 133 MHz ? A "Double Videl" with 36-Bit TrueColour mode ? The Videl is only "a pixel pump" ? "USB drivers can be hacked from Windows driver CDs" ? "2x8 MB FlashROM chips as RAMdisk, integrated over IDE using DMA" ?
This is all pure junk.
It's hillarious.
It's impossible and it's even violating the basics of the original Falcon (18 Bit True Colour on the original VIDEL ...).
So please, IF any of you out there want to support a clone-project, support X-TOS.
Putting ANY work or devotion into the TOSter
is simply a waste of time.
