Yo!
No interviews, we´re on vacation, hehe...
Tho, these are both good and interesting questions, so:

Yes, in a way. But imagine the price for a
machine with two or more 040´s... :-/
In October, we got a free tour inside a SUN
machine with four CPU´s. It´s interesting
until you see the machine´s price tag.
But anything can happen. The idea with the
CPU-card slot is to let 3:rd party developers
try out any alternatives they can think of.
That may include multi-CPU cards, or even a
Coldfire, since the ROMs will be placed on
the CPU card so, you swap CPU, you also swap OS.
There is the optional G3/G4 card, but it can´t
share TOS with the 040, only one can run at the time.

So, we share the same dream? :)
We have thought alot of an laptop version.
There is a low-power version of the 040,
68V040, aimed for this kind of applications,
so why not? (it has no FPU tho)
I think making the MOBO Falcon-sized wouldn´t
be the best of ideas, since there are no Falcon
cases around. There are countless of cheap
ATX cases everywhere, wouldn´t that be the
best option? IF the TOSter is going to have
PCI(not at all sure about that yet), then a
ATX tower should suit perfectly, I think.
(G3/4 cards are available for most interfaces.)
Back on vacation. Have a nice day.
