Some of the newer software say after 1985 are only compatable with the xl/xe machines. You
need a translator disk for the xl/xe machine
to get some of the older 800 software to work. Atari came out with a traslator disk.
I had a side a and a side b. Other company
i think Antic came out with there own
translator disk which for me was the better one. I haven't looked to see if anyone has
them on the internet to download. I wonder if
