Hell, I have been meaning to tell you ( I think its you ) what files are needed for yonks! ( I love that word )
Ok, the obvious are the MAGXBOOT.PRG in C:AUTO , and MAGIC.RAM in C:
You need to have a GEMSYS Folder, and in this folder are the Off Screen Drivers, these have the extention .OSD and there will also be .NOD Files too
They will be named in a standard way
such as
OFFxxxyy.zzz
The zzz will either be OSD or NOD
The xxx Will be the number of colours, such as 004 for 4 bit, 008 for 8 bit, 256 for 256 colours, 32K for 32768 Colours and so on
the yy I dont know, but mine are PL, PK, IP, and FL, possibly others?
There are also about 4 or 5 MFA????.SYS Files and these also need to be there too!
Anyway, you need all of those files in GEMSYS
I tell you what I will do...
I will do up a quick MAGIC setup, with the absolute minimum files to get you running in Magic, and I will convert the files to dead files, so it will zip up to a tiny size, just so you can see the layout of the files etc.. will that be ok?
