I was going to say this or that, but then I thought about it for a minute, and I can see why you would say such a thing.

You do not have any kind of grasp about how Audio / Video works at all do you? So, how on earth could I explain without sounding too complex, and confusing you?

Basically, a CD ( as in a typical audio CD )contains an audio signal,) that is just a stream of noise, that takes up no processign whatsoever, other than to connect up to a pair of speakers/headphones etc

Ok, argue about it being digital, but the idea is the same as a record having groves, it gets converted from vibrations to sound

While a picture contained on a DVD, is not quite the same, its held in a format that no PC can directly read and display without processing it in some way

That has not answered you at all has it?
