Yes, I dare say, that if the signal was externally converted to a format the ST could then display at 320x200x16, and the Sync was taken from the external source, the ST may very well be able to display it...
Even if it perhaps missed every other screen or whatever! - it would definitely be fun wouldnt it?
I dont think its just software though... The hardware required would be quite some project I would have thought too?
Saying that, I know that there are AVI Players for the PC, that display the video as ACSII - imagine how crappy that looks!
Saying that, I have seen some stuff ( Not a whole film of course - just animations and clips, and they are perfectly watchable!
Maybe that for the ST???
