Yes I remember them, and I even have the
VideoMaster cartridge, but that is just a
videosampler like you said. GENlocking is
something different, you sync your ST´s RGB up
to an external video signal and can mix them.
ie, you never digitize the video signal, it
just passes tru, and on the way you add some
gfx from the ST/Falc. It requires three analog-
multiplexers on the ST´s RGB output, synced up
to the 32MHZ signal that you put in to the
sync input on the monitor connector. (phew)
I played around a little with this 10 years ago,
puting some animations onto a music video. :)
Think I should still have that card in some
drawer. I might consider producing some, if
anyone want them, but there again, there is
no software for it, just the card...
