My STE has been through two power supplies, two floppy drives and four sets of SIMMs. It's STill running though, it was a present from my parents in 1993 so I want to keep it ;-) I have swapped the case though, I took a broken STE, ran the case through the dishwasher and sprayed it black, then painted the keys gold by hand, and then painted the legends on in blue...it looks great.

But that's waaaay off topic...
