Hey, thanx mate.
It seems like the table
"Position de la carte Slot
Adressage 24 bits Adressage 32 bits"
may be just what I was looking for. :)
Pity I canīt read the text on that site, but
at least I could pick up some this and that
from the scematics. :p
Texas owns the Nubus protocol, but they are
only interested of pushing for their chips,
so they wonīt tell me anything about the
adresses in my old MACīs...
I was hoping to be able to access those ports
directly from a little BASIC program, just
like in an Atari, without having to load a
bunch of registers and all that. I found the
pinouts for these ports at TechNick, and found
out that they multiplex the DATA/ADR buses,
just like isa/pci/older intels does. This
makes constructions more complicated, so maybe
hooking my hardware up to the SCSI bus would
be both easier to access, and... -faster?
(anyway, the boot ramdisk part should fit
like a glove on the SCSI, I think, hehe:)
Iīm going to try these adresses out. If I can
lit up some LEDs on the ports, Iīm half ways.
Cheers mate.
