Yes, its going to be slow, but not as slow as you would think... Its still perfectly useable!
Also, try to make the HD as big as you can.
It only needs a couple of hundred megs, but seriously, give it at least 400 ( depending on which version maybe needs even more? )
I know I did my first attempt on a 270, and ended up with having no room for hardly anything, and this was a while ago when 270 meant something...
