DO NOT TAKE A SWITCHED MODE POWER SUPPLY OUT AND TEST IT UNDER NO LOAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Under no load this type of PSU will ramp the output voltage up and up and up till the whole damm lot goes up in smoke.
If you wanna test an Atari PSU that aint connected to the mainboard put a load resister on its output.
