Yes, the motor in the fan can cause jitter.
I replaced the PSU with an external one from
a trashed MAC. May cause less jitter I think.
(and it can feed all five harddrives + the CD)
I´m designing my own RAM board for my new
Falc, with a 72pin socket on. I´m ready to
route, as soon as I can find out this:
On the Falc´s RAM connector pinout,
the CAS signals are refered to as:
CAS_0L, CAS_0H, CAS_1L, CAS_1H.
...and at the SIMM:
CAS_0, CAS_1, CAS2, CAS3.
I would guess that it should be like this:
Falc -> SIMM
------------
CAS_0L -> CAS_0
CAS_0H -> CAS_1
CAS_1L -> CAS_2
CAS_1H -> CAS_3
... but I´m not sure.
Can´t find any further info, do you know?
