Sounds either lke you have not enabled the SCSI-ID of the Zip to be scanned during boot, or you have simply not told the desktop to show the icon for it ?

To enable the SCSI-ID for hddriver.sys you start hddriverutil and enable it in one of the selections in the rightmost menu (sorry I don't have the prg in front of me to be able to give exact details).

To have the desktop show all drives you select "install devices" or something similar (same situation, I havn't got the machine here to tell exactly).
