At the boot sequence, you should see all drives connected to your Flacon (IDE, SCSI...). I assume Hd Driver works like AHDI, Cecile... on this point.
If you see something like SCSI Iomega Zip 100mb (or whatever the zip returns as ID). It's good. This should be OK as HD Driver recognize and format it.
How many partitions do you have on your internal IDE?
If you have only one, C:, your zip partitions begins with letter D (if many partitions, this is in alphabetical order).
Try to press Alt+D, this should open partition D and you can work with it.
If you want an icon on your desktop (better to use with a mouse :-), you have to instal it. In the right menu, choose Install drive or Install??? (no falcon here, and no english TOS). Then type the letter of your partition (D in the example) and assign an icon to it. Saving your desktop will keep this info, or you will have to do this each time.
