Once upon a time I needed to replace my disk drive. I ve installed a pc one and guess what, it worked: But only if I used verbatim disks! I ve tried every other brand and only verbatim worked. Figure that out. As Jos' problem is concerned I seriously doubt it's a software problem but more a likely a hardware one.
