I've got a Falcon that does this too....it's a SCSI termination issue (I know it doesn't sound likely but it is)....Basically on some Falcon's if the SCSI isn't terminated correctly it won't see it's A: drive....Your ZIP is terminating it and all is well with the world again. To get the ZIP recognised run the HD-Drivers setup program and activate the SCSI ID number that hte ZIP is on....
