The reason I wanted to know was that I want to know if I can replace the 68040 in my quadra with a 68060. I have tried an apple message board forum but there I was told that the 68060 dosnt exist or that I was stupid for wanting to upgrade a quadra.
I am very ambiguiosly inbetween message boards ie: I intend to run a mac quadra with apple o.s 8.1 so I get internet access (I have tried to connect with ntl via other methods but not succeeded) but as a side line I will be using Magic.
Any suggestions as to where I could post would be gratefully recieved.
Perhaps when my mac is up & running I may start a 68k message board now that should be good fun.
