Are you joking? There is very little that is reusable in any old game now that most game systems / pc have shared libraries and graphic acceleration that handles things like sprite movement, 3d model rotation and rendering etc.
That leaves only "game logic" which can be copied (I suppose at a push things like collision detection would come here but even the OpenGL glut library has that in). This stuff isn't 'trade secret' any more, its not even clever any more.
And besides, even if the stuff is reused, what does that matter? We're not talking about the source code here.
The fact is its illegal to copy abandonned software becuase it may stop you buying new games. Well, diddums.
