Sorry guy, but have you been sleeping for the last years?

What did you expect from Hasbro? New software for your XL/XE, ST or for the VCS2600? Or new Hardware?
It was more than clear, that Hasbro will use the brand "Atari" just as a brand for their computer-games.
I love my ST very much, but I knew that with the acquisition from Hasbro, there will never be out a new hardware, perhaps in a few years a gaming-console (if Hasbro would think of it), but nothing else...
Sure, it would be cool getting new products for our Ataris, but that yould make no sense at all, it would just like be if the company which have the rights on Commodore would launch new projects on the C-64 or something like that...
Hasbro releases games under the Atari-brand and I think that this is better, than to know, that the brand of the computer you own is completely dead. (like Commodore, Sinclair,...).
Just yesterday I took a look into a PC-games-magazine and saw an ad of Hasbro:
A whole page in black and on it a white big Atari-logo (I´ve never seen before such a big ad only showing the logo, not in Atari´s best years) and I knew: O.k., maybe there will never be a new Atari-computer, maybe a whole wrld broke down for me as Atari went down ( I WAS almost about crying), but the name is going to survive and this in the market it all started... computergames...
