I don't think so.
Even though "formatting" does not mean the physical creation of tracks and sectors, it surely clears FAT, Directory and in the worst case every sector on the harddisk.
If you are very very lucky, you did a quick format, that just empties FAT and Directory and marks all sectors "free" again even though it does not clear the sectors.
In that case some data may be recoverable if you had a backup FAT and directory.
Since i doubt you have access to an up-to-date backup FAT or directory, i am pretty sure there is no way to recover anything.
