Actually, although in part you are right, there is a massive number of abandoned games that are freely available on perfectly legal websites!
Take the Games like SimCity and other sims like that...
There is only 2 games currently for sale, these are
SimCity 3000
and
The Simms
ALL other games like this, SimCity, CimCity 200 SimAnt, Sim Tower etc, are all now regarded as freeware!
I could name you several thousand other games like this, that are freely available for download, on completely legal sites ( Just look for abandonware or abandoned games in any search engine for proof )
So, it would be interesting to know what the companies actually really make of them?
Are they really legit, or am I just being stoopid?
