2.5/3.5" IDE adaptors are not Falcon-specific. I use the same ones in PCs and Falcons. The *only* reason an Atari user would use one is to put a 3.5" drive on a Falcon (in fact, I have two drives, and two adaptors - one converts the motherboard connector to 40-way for the 3.5" drive and another converts it back to 44-way for the 2.5" drive). The Lindy ones are very compact because they're "in-line" (as shown on the web site), but in some situations it may be better to use the type that's based on a small PCB, sometimes with right-angled connectors or even mounting holes.
