They don't allow them - they just don't care about them. I think the big organisations such as the IDSA are more occupied with "warez" sites.

Yes, that's what some companies do. Cinemaware and Jeff Minter have also their own games on their website.

C64 and Spectrum have very great games sites. They are even easier to find than the PC ones :-)
I'm just wondering why Spectrum and Amiga fans succeeded getting distribution permission from many companies and ST/C64 not?
