What make / model is the PC3?
Perhaps you need a BIOS Program like I had in an old Olivetti some years ago?
I know I have old DOS Software around here, so I will dig it out, and send you a copy via EMail if I find it... Its CMOS stuff, that is for my old 286 machines, but it works on almost anything old.
You can setup the BIOS in that I recon
