Erm... I don't think I ever wrote that in the Quick FAQ.
Some Mega STE's had an internal SCSI host adapter daughter board on it's VME bus, but we are talking about a plain Mega ST. The old Mega has no provision for an internal HD, except if you add an internal SCSI host adapter like the ICD one.
So, whatever you have, you need some kind of SCSI host adapter.

That you can put SCSI devices on this port internally, and on the external ASCI port with a host adapter, but is this internal a SCSI adapter?
