i get only the left part of the window
when running medium rez.
ANd: you can no one force to use KDE in the linux world. That is a violation of the Free Software motto: use what you want and make it better if somethiung fails.
KDE actually takes too much resources.
Keep that in account. And, as you're definetyl not using the QT Toolkit, there is abosultely no need for KDE.
