The CT60 has a full 060 bus so perhaps the intention is to encourage development of new and better peripherals instead of dragging old kludge solutions with it. A PCI adaptor was made for the CT2A (and I've seen it running) but I don't ever recall it being intended for retail. It was an evaluation card for Phenix technology. Most of the Phenix technology was developed and tested in the form of add-on cards for the CT2A's 32-bit bus. To sell them would be to effectively kill the potential Phenix market by having most of its constituent parts available as Falcon upgrades.
