There will be no emulating of the STs hardware. But there have been thoughts that the estimated 333 MHz of the Coldfire might be fast enough to port emulators such as STeem to the ACP. That's not a new idea - the Amiga users also ported the Amiga-Emulator UAE to play their old games on OS3.

Hardware-wise the ACP will certainly not be more compatible since e.g. the Yamaha soundchip won't be built in.
