sure it is possible with ppp. i tried it once and it worked, but it was not satisfying because it is very slow... there is a program which runs on tos compatible and linux but i forgot its name... this program enables a file transfere between a tos machine and another tos machine or pc compatible. it uses a parallel connection. the only problem about this program is: 1 its not freeware 2 it does not support tcp/ip or any other standart protocol. so technichally it might be possible to link a pc and a atari via plip. but like adam wrote the two protocols are not exactly the same... so please programmers find a way to solve this problem :-=
