The component you can adjust to re-tune the RF modulator is most likely a variable inductor, a fairly common item in radio's, tv's, and anything else that uses RF. But they're not all the same. Take a look to see if theres any part numbers marked on it. It might be hard to see many have very fine print stamped in the metal around the hole where it is adjusted (on the top). You should be careful adjusting theese too. Get a tv ajuster tool, looks like a small thin screwdriver made of plastic, its not to expensive. You cant really use a metal screwdriver as these will make a mess of the magnetic field in the inductor. So when you adjust it to perfect then take the metal screwdriver out, the rf modulator will once again be detuned.
