...truth?.... go to Ebay and buy another,...there is no shame in that,...and I have had extremely good luck with consoles that I have bought on Ebay,...once they are unplayable,...it could be any number of things,...if it's a loose connection or something obvious on the inside great, fix it and your'e back in business,...but if it's a chip, you'll need another for parts,...and that could be tricky.... just get another and keep the old on for parts, knobs or switches later....
