hey nullsleep,
some advice you might be able to use:
- ditch multitos, it's crap. use mint or maybe even magic for multitasking and networking stuff, but if you just use the machine to do chipsounds etc the built-in singleTOS is enough and usually the most reliable option.
- try "ST LOW" compatibility mode when running st programs
- you could try "backwards" (st compatibility tool on falcon) in case of emergency
- orange is a popular colour in sweden (the boat cabin last time i travelled there still gives me a headache)
- www.dhs.nu, tracking.atari.org, ymrockerz.atari.org
- ssd is supposed to work on falcon... the text being printed over the interface is normal as far as i can remember. does the machine crash or just freezes a while and then resumes operation? (like max 30secs maybe) i used it on rgb screen though, which is quite often the better option for such purposes. btw it is a lot more powerful than musicmon too (sidvoice etc) :)
