Why use the slow serial port (19200 bps on an ST) when you can use the parallel port?
Anyway, ghostlink will work between a PC and an Atari, but is slow and doesn't work for some people. The PC program must be running under DOS, not Windows' DOS emulation. If you want to transfer files between 2 ataris on the serial then you will have to set up a TCP/IP connection with STinG and an FTP server and client setup, which is not really quick and easy.
