It can be a bit tricky.
You must make sure you are using 720K disks, plus the disk formats must also be in the same format as the image file, i.e. an image of a 10 sector 80 track disk (very common for game menus) will not go onto a 720K disk with 9 sectors and 79 tracks (standard).
On the ST it was popular to use extended formats to get a few extra K out of each disk (and why not I used them for years with no problems, and they still work), on the PC this could easily be done but was never taken advantage of really.
On a PC at a DOS prompt type Format /? this will give info on specifying a disk format, I am sure you can work it out.
Finding out the format of the image may be harder, but it may say somewere on the download screen on in the ZIP.
There are some other programs around that may work better but I have not tried them and do not know were you can find them (there are some Windows based ones).
