Author: Bob (dyn58-37.sftm-212-159.plus.net) Date: 07-14-2002 12:48 My Falcon (Tos 4.04) seems to send spurious data to the hard drive on boot up (syquest removeable - scii ). It renamed or seems to have renamed the drive with a string of characters but continues to recognize it & boot as normal. Does anyone know of a fix for this or what it may be? Its a bog standard model (4MB, no accelaration). I've already lost one hard drive cartridge to this fault (I think) so am reluctant to make full use of this excellent machine. Any help appreciated.
