Thanks for the reply.
well i just tried it again, and now Im not sure if its turning on or not, as I can't get any hint of a picture now at all......i'll felt the power adapter (the original ingersoll), and its mildy warm, so I think powers going into it. I tried a few different cartridges, and its the same with them all.
The tv lead is the type that goes directly into the back of the machine (not a "plug" type), so i'm not sure how i could replace the lead. I've just had a look at the break in the lead, and it seems theres some copper wire going around a inner white plastic wire? the outside copper wire is about 50% intact. Is the outside copper wire the main connect wire? which i should repair? or is there another wire inside the inner plastic one??
