The Mega 1 was the last one, not the first
one. It was produced as a sequel to the 1040
STf long long after Mega ST 4 and Mega ST 2
were initiated. It doesn't even have a fan.

Cheap HDs don't exist for an ST as you'll
always need a controller. You may get an old
worn SH 205 or a Megafile somewhere second
hand.
I don't know if there's any HD-controller for
the Mega Bus but i don't think so.
