The Atari ST had some advantages compared to PCs...
One is, that you were capable of formatting DD-Discs higher, up to 810 KByte with the normal system (higher with some lowlevel programming)
But unfortunately I don't know any program for writing diskettes under TOS; AFAIK Makedisk or some other program can create images and write diskettes back from images under DOS.
But I won't bet that it works with high formatted diskettes and further you need a good floppy not this litter that is build in in newer PCs.
