how do peeps!

dunno if anyone can help me here but i have EXTENdos version 4.03 CDROM software on me falcon which works fine for CD roms and CDRs but i have some atari software on DVD that does work on my PC but on the falcon i can't even get it to open the DVD , it just freezes up

can anyone help me at all? is it possible to read DVDs or not of the falcon? i assume yes as this version of EXTENdos does say CD/DVD on it
