Well, actually you don't need to run MiNT to parse a
shell script, but since you want to call some executables
from within the shell, it'll definetly be easier in MiNT than
in plain TOS or MagiC.
If you're interested in MiNT, i recommend
http://freemint.org.
If this is your first shell script, i recommend
standard Unix/Linux shell script tutorials such as
